A better core and face
The stocked plywood is furniture grade with a poplar veneer core, selected to avoid the delamination and veneer problems common in lower-grade panels.

Most stocked panels are 4 × 8 feet; Baltic birch is stocked in 5 × 5-foot sheets. The store also sells quarter and half sheets of stocked items, which makes better material practical for smaller projects.
Stock and special order
Common hardwood faces, Baltic birch, and MDF are normally stocked. A broader range of species, cores, and finish panels is available with a short lead time.
